Mazda showroom and service

This diploma thesis describes the design of showroom and car service of Mazda brand in Trencin. It is a detached building on a flat terrain. The car showroom and car service have two above-ground floors and one underground floor. On the first underground floor there is an underground garage designed for new cars for sale. On the first floor there is a car showroom with a customer base and a car service with facilities for car service staff. On the second floor there are offices with facilities for staff. The building is designed from a reinforced concrete structure and porous concrete blocks. The ceilings are monolithic reinforced concrete and the roof is designed as flat with trusses and reinforced concrete slab. The work includes project documentation for the construction.

Car centre VW Group Brno

ABSTRACT The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is an architectural study created within the AG033 subject. This study is the elaboration of the documentation for building permission and documentation for construction. The subject of this thesis is the design of a new building for the Volkswagen Group car center, which is to serve for sales, warranty and post-warranty repairs and servicing of ŠKODY, SEAT, VW and AUDI cars. This building is situated in Mikulov town, cadastral area Mikulov, in the industrial zone of the town. The specified set of plots is located near agricultural and industrial buildings at the end of Jiráskova street on flat terrain, there was no need to preserve the character of the existing sorrounding buildings. The building has a maximum of two floors in the part of the showroom, in the rest part of the building there is only one floor. The whole building is divided into thee basic parts: Showroom, warehouse, service. The remaining areas of the land are divided into the forecourt of a representative showroom, of communication and parking for customers, employees and parking lots. These areas are complemented by grassy areas with low greenery. The whole building is designed as several cubes stacked together. An exclusively flat roof at different height levels is designed here. The main entrance is located in the showroom facing south with the representative forecourt adjacent to Jiráskova street. The showroom has large wooden-aluminium windows and serves as a showcase for the car center. The structure is made of reinforced conncrete frame loadbearing structure filled with large windows and aerated concrete bloctks YTONG, the entire building is panelling by sandwich thermal insulation panel systém from Kingspan. The roof plane is solved using sandwich roof insulation panels also from the same company.

Detached house with showroom

The subject matter of my Bachelor thesis is the project of a new single-family detached house with historical automobiles' showroom located in Vyšný Kubín in the Slovak Republic. The building is situated on southern slope and has three over-ground floors. The vertical load bearing system consists of combination of Porotherm walling system, monolithic iron-concrete and welted steel pillars. The horizontal load bearing system consists of ceilings from iron-concrete monolithic constructions. The building cladding consists of ventilated façade with exterior wooden trim combined with gabion baskets as one of modern façade elements. Roofing of the building is designed as two flat vegetative roofs and one flat walk-on roof - terrace. The building has also a spacious terrace with swimming pool accessible from both the first as well as the second floor. The building foundations consist of iron-concrete monolithic strips and blocks. The project emphasizes the layout plan, thermal technical properties and safety in use.

Production buildings VW Autocenter

This Bachelor thesis deals with a new building of Carcenter VW Group located in Brno city, north-east ftom the inner city, in a city part Zábrdovice, on Cejl Street. The building site is recognized in cadastral list by the Brno City Council as Brownfield with the number 3402. It has a iregular shape with area of 1.15 hectares and it is oriented to the north-south direction. From the east it is bordered by a protective belt of the river Svitava. From the south is the site bordered by the Cejl street and from the western side is bordered by the Jana Svobody street. The land is located in an industrial zone, surrounding buildings are of mixed use. The building of carcenter is situated perpendicular to the southern boundary. The access into the area of the building is designed from the road on Cejl Street. Urban solution allows independent use of a showroom and a service warehouse. There are designated separate parking areas for the needs of individual operations of both parts. The building is designed to meet the requirements of the service carcenter VW Group. It will serve as a showcase and a selling point of cars of Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi and Seatvas well as a service and spare parts stock shop.

Carcenter VW Group

This Bachelor’s thesis deals with a new building of Carcenter VW Group in the south of the city Brno, in a city part Brněnské Ivanovice, on Kaštanová Street. The plot is recognized as Brownfield under the number 0201 by the Brno City Council. It has a triangular shape with area of 1.3 hectares and it is oriented to the north-south direction. From the east it is bordered by a protective belt of the river Svitava. The land is located in an industrial zone, thus surrounding buildings are of commercial, administrative and industrial use. The building of carcenter is situated perpendicular to the southern boundary, with its long sides on the east and west. The access into the area of the building is designed from the road on Kaštanová Street. Urban solution allows independent use of a showroom and a service warehouse. There are designated separate parking areas for the needs of individual operations of both parts. The building is designed to meet the requirements of the service carcenter VW Group. Manufacturing of designer made clothes

The bachelor thesis deals with an architektural study of design studio of subject AG034 which was concentrated on production buildings topic. Target of this bachelor thesis is construction and design and functionaliti of production of branded clothing. The land which we want to build on is situated near by the Rokytova street in district of Brno-Židenice. In near surroundings are located for example city barracks industry buildings and warehouses or city cemetery. Location of whole building on the land is solved by placeing it in the centre of the plot because of its big dimensions. Local roads then simply surrounds the building from each side. Task of intended production building is create enough employment opportunities for local residents and finally to raise morale and level of local enviroment. The building is created in good technical solution for handicapped people and their job opportuniti. Concept of the building and whole production is primarily based on functional aspect. The building has got two aboveground storeys and her length is several times bigger then her width and height. The building plot rises between the southern and northern borders somewhere about twelve metres. Proposal and the total concept is based on this fact and manufacturing delivery is directly on the second floor where the production hall is located. On the second floor there is also a technical and storage part. The first floor is conected to the second by one employee staircase and the second which is determinated for public visit of the showroom on the second floor. The clothing showroom is set to the balcony and to the production itself. The first floor is designed as a five-stroke and contains every background for building and staff. For example there are staff changing rooms and offices and dining room with kitchen or buffet but also else technical background.

New South District and its Connection to Svratka

The Master‘s thesis deals with the processing of the architectural study of the city block in the planned new South Quarter near the Svratka River. The project builds on a pre-diploma project whose aim was to create a territorial urban study for part of this neighbourhood. It was a section between the New Railway Station, Opuštěná Street and the existing Zvonařka Bus Station following the river embankment. The subject of the master‘s thesis is a block from this newly designed urban structure, situated in very close proximity to the river. he project focuses on the block as a whole. It conceptually solves the links between newly designed buildings, individual operations, and functions. It deals with the relationship between streets, river and buildings. Great attention is paid to the maximum use of greenery in the form of extensive and intensive roofs, internal blocks, private gardens in the inner block, as well as private front gardens. The concept seeks to provide a wide range of options and differences. This creates a closed city block that is open and responding to the river with its shape, that consists of free parts. The first / majority are the street lining. It is mostly 5-storey. Corner buildings are raised by one floor, allowing roof intensive gardens to be created. It includes a diverse range of residential units overlooking the river. Housing prevails here. On the ground floor there are a few commercial units and work-and-live. The work-and-live area also includes a private front yard on the street and private raised gardens in the interior. The second part consists of two objects extended over the pedestrian shopping promenade. One of the objects was subject of my detailed architectural study. There are the most luxurious apartments, ground floor showroom and concept store. In the first part, I will discuss the theoretical bases of my work and I will define basic terms like business, businessman, etc. In the second part I will build a real business plan for opening and operation of the motor show in Brno.

Office building

This master thesis elaborates the project documentation for the construction of an office building in Krnov city, located in the Moravian-Silesian region. The office building has four utility above-ground floors and one underground floors serving as underground garages. There is a cafe, stationery, showrooms and office space with sanitary facilities. The construction system is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton. Vertical infill constructions are made of brick technology from Porotherm ceramic blocks. The ceiling structures are made of filigree panels with hidden steel girders, which are embedded with concrete layer. The basement and the basic structure of the house is designed as a white tub. The building is covered with vegetation roof. The design emphasized increased comfort in use and the overall modern concept of an office building. Overall, the building is designed to the required values for a near zero energy building.
